Have you heard the news? We're big time! Here's an article that is another testament to our steady, but slow, growth and healthy economy! It may not get us a Chick-fil-A or a Target, but did you hear we're getting a Red Lobster? Just kidding.
Ardmore #1 in Job Growth
And because it's a great place to work, it's also a great place to live. The quality of life is the # 1 reason many of us have come, stayed in, or returned to Ardmore. Projects and partnerships like the Cancer Treatment Center have kept our community thriving for over 100 years.
The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) named Ardmore, Orlando and Austin as the winners of the Innovation Awards for Partnership Projects benefitting their community. The Ardmore Development Authority entered the Cancer Treatment Center on behalf of the Chamber Foundation to snag the top honor for communities under 200,000 in population. The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is the premier membership organization dedicated to helping economic development professionals create high-quality jobs, develop vibrant communities and improve the quality of life in their regions. Serving more than 4,500 members, IEDC represents the largest network of economic development professionals in the world. Wes Stucky is one of only 90 individuals in the organization who have been recognized as an Honorary Lifetime member. -The Ardmore Development Authority
